What's Rainbow?

Rainbow changes Apple logo mark of the back of the New iBook's LCD.
Rainbow needs no change of hardware. It only needs sense of Joke!

The Usage is only to lanch the Rainbow. That's all!

If you launched it, it will be displayed at suitable position automatically.

PowerBook G3 （Bronze Keyboard/ Fire Wire）、PowerBook G4の画面裏側にあるリンゴマークを６色表示（もどき）にしてしまおうというアプリケーションのiBook Dual USB版です。

幾多の猛者がフィルムを貼り込んで実現しようと試み、その無意味さに挫折したと聞くリンゴマークの６色化！　本ソフトは、ハードウェアの改造なしに、とんちの力だけでそれを実現させたものです。

使い方は見てのとおり（＾＾；　起動すると、ちょうどきっちりリンゴマークの位置にウィンドウが表示されます。本ソフトはコンピュータの演算性能や処理速度といったものには一切影響を受けませんが、極度にハードウェアに依存したプログラムとなっており、そのため各機種用を個別にご用意しています。

Recommended Environment

iBook Dual USB with MacOS 9.x. Maybe compatible with Classic on MacOS X.
Rainbow for iBook supports only iBook Dual USB. All PowerMac can run it but there is no meaning :-)

（これ以外のすべてのPowerPC搭載Macintoshで動作はしますが……iBook Dual USBでないとまったく意味がありません＾ー＾；）

Warning

It is dangerous to be too close to light. Keep suitable distance.

iBookを光源に近づけすぎると危険です。適度な距離を心がけてください。

Do not sleep or shutdown iBook but stay awake.

Usage

	Launch the application "Rainbow". れいんぼおを起動します
Push "fn" and "F1" key 「fn」と「F1」キーを押します
	Dimm the brightness of LCD continuously 画面を暗くします（押しっぱなし）

Self Introduction of "MARo"

MARo is a technical writer and AppleScript engineer in Japan. And he loves Macintosh very much and lives in Tokyo with his 11 Macs in only one room ( It takes only 15 minues to go to the office of Apple Japan by his bicycle).

And some of you may remember the software "Rainbow". It changes Apple logo mark of PowerBook G3 (Lombard & Pismo) into 6 colors without any change of hardware. He is the only maker of such a funny software in the world.

Now he starts new Apple Users Group "Crazy Movie Lab" making funny QuickTime movies. His brand new movie "Cleanup Desktop" was laughed at Macworld Conference & Expo/Tokyo 2001 very well.
